OPEN ONLY TO Dutch Mirror Society–
Drakenburg
Baarn, Netherlands
Friday 5 April 2013 13:00– 17:00
What would it feel like if we realized that, from the very beginning we were
designed to look for, find and realize our true nature? How would it change
us?
Our greatest teacher is life itself. Of course, we don’t always trust life. Life
can be unpredictable, changing course when we least expect or desire it.
Being human, it is inevitable that we lose our way.
As we embrace more of who we are—flaws and all, greatness and all—our
longings and desires become trustworthy. It is then that we hear the Real
Self calling to us and it is then the wild beauty of our heart has the courage
to answer. The wild heart is open to all that is, from laughter to tears, from
insight to resistance.
In this workshop, we will explore the human journey, including our
fundamental longing for wholeness and the walls we erect around our
hearts, minds, bodies and spirit. We will engage with nondual prayer and
learn the Healing of Immanence. Many describe this healing as life-changing
and a turning point on their spiritual journey.
This workshop is based on Nondual Kabbalistic Healing— the revolutionary
work of Jason Shulman, internationally-known modern Kabbalist, Buddhist
teacher and founder of A Society of Souls—taught by his Lead Teacher
Brenda Carter Blessings.
Brenda Carter Blessings is Executive Director and Lead Teacher of A Society of Souls,
The School for Nondual Healing and Awakening, based in the U.S. and Netherlands,
which teaches a four-year training in Nondual Kabbalistic Healing, as well as the Magi
Process, Impersonal Movement and Work of Return. To learn more about the work of

The very nature of life on earth is paradoxical. Constant change, which is built into this world, can feel threatening or hopeful. Form and structure, which are also built into this world, seem to block the flow of creativity. Our
desire to trust life may, at times, feel thwarted by our longings for safety and our resistance to change. Yet wrestling with the nature of Reality can lead us into a deeper exploration of life’s true nature. Ultimately, our curiosity can guide us home.
During this evening, we’ll explore opposites: life and death, creation and
destruction, imperfection and perfection. We’ll discover what can be found
when we embrace our limitations and open to new possibilities.
This evening will include a lecture by Brenda Carter Blessings, dialogue and
discussion, and a guided meditation. We will engage with everything that
comes, from insight to resistance, from boredom to enthusiasm, from tears
to laughter.
This lecture is based on Nondual Kabbalistic Healing®— the profound work
of Jason Shulman, internationally-known modern Kabbalist, Buddhist
teacher and founder of A Society of Souls—taught by Brenda Carter
Blessings.

How does awakening heal the body, mind and spirit? What is the role of the ego in healing and awakening? How do we learn to meet constant change, movement and difference in the world? Why is healing and awakening the personal self important for us to engage in compassionate action in the world?
In this intimate 5 day workshop, we will explore these profound questions and a new relationship to transformation and healing. This workshop is based on the revolutionary work of Jason Shulman, internationally known modern Kabbalist, Buddhist teacher and founder of A Society of Souls—taught by his Dharma Heir, Jinen Brenda Carter Blessings.
From the awakened point of view, our very longing for healing and liberation is due to the ongoing action of God. This is God calling to God. Only by facing our deepest humanity with its limitations, imperfections and simple joys can we experience the liberation that is our birthright.
In this retreat, we will begin with deep acceptance and compassion for the human being—and the understanding that our problems have a single origin—the sense of being a separate ego personality self only and not in relationship to the Whole of Reality. We will directly address this sense of alienation from ourselves, others and all of life—and in this, actively encourage the body, mind and spirit heal and awaken into relationship.
Brenda Carter Blessings is Executive Director and Senior Teacher of A Society of Souls, The School for Nondual Healing and Awakening, based in the U.S. and Netherlands, which teaches a four year training in Nondual Kabbalistic Healing®, as well as the Magi Process®, Impersonal Movement® and the Work of Return®.
